Denikka D. Harris had an early start in the hair industry. At the age of 15, she pursued her Cosmetology License as an elective course in High School and obtained her license at the age of 17.

At 19, Denikka stepped out on faith and opened Divine Designs by Denikka with the love and support of her Grandfather. He taught Denikka the importance of using what you have from God to help others. She wanted to work with all textures of hair, so Denikka worked with corporate salons that take stylists through extensive training in order to work in their fast service environments like:

Attending training, seminars, and shows from LA, NY, Miami, and Atlanta allows her to reach for the stars along with some of the best people in the industry like the Pantene Pro V Tour 2005 with Mc Lyte, Yolanda Adams, Myra J, and Donna Richardson, Paul Mitchell and many others.
