’ve been in the beauty industry for 10 years now. I specialize in hair coloring, curly hair cutting + styling, brow, and makeup artistry. My goal is to make people feel and look beautiful, as themselves. Not try and make them up to be anyone different, but enhance what was always there. I love doing that in many different ways: through hair, through brows, makeup, and through simply connecting with people. Those interactions are the glue that holds everything that I do together. I also enjoy some modeling on the side. Modeling is an escape; a way of expression without saying anything. Although I love deep conversation, it’s nice to break it up. In contrast, my blogs are an outlet for detailed explanations and witty sayings. I can be transparent and connect with all the readers out there, which is why we’re here!

Kbeauty is what has kept me grounded as a business woman. KB started as just an idea to get my name out there, a way to market myself without directly marketing myself because, truthfully, I sometimes have a hard time putting myself into the spotlight. She helped me build the confidence that I so much needed. And for that, I thank her.

On top of juggling all of my talents, I am a mother to 2 young boys. They are 100% the drive behind me. I always think, “what motivation would I have if it wasn’t for my kids?” I want them to look back in years to come and tell me that they’re proud of what I’ve done for them just as I know I’ll look at them and be proud of them as well. That, in turn, has made me better for myself and for the world. Never in a million years did I think I would be raising two children on my own, but things seem to fall together the way they were meant to. So, I’ve learned to not ask too many questions, but instead just run with what comes my way.

This fresh new start and Kbeauty being a little over a year old is probably not just a coincidence because sometimes you need a fresh set of eyes to look over things, even if they’re your own. So here, you’ll find all of the things that I am and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
