Before opening their coffee house and art gallery, the Govans were very involved in the Cosmetology and Entertainment Industry. Henry & Angela Govan both worked for Beau Monde, Inc. Memphis’ foremost elaborate, full-service salon and day spa.

Henry Govan has been a successful Cosmetologist for over twenty years and is well-known as a chemical specialist. His creative art has been seen in film, television, and on the streets.

Angela, a Cosmetologist, image consultant and platform artist trained by Paul Mitchell, combined her experience with Henry’s talents to conduct corporate image seminars, hair & make-up for music videos and special in-salon training for stylist in the Mid-South area. After moving to Gallatin, Henry worked on music row at Salon FX.
